Whilst strolling around a charming west-coast French village, I was confronted with a flash of recognition as I approached this strange and mysterious building. I'd already been here some years earlier -- but only in a dream. The net curtains at one of the windows moved slightly in a draught and I thought I caught the silhouette of an old lady behind the netting, Then a cloud changed shape in the reflection -- she was gone and the moment was lost.
Along the way. I'm a UK-based artist and designer. Most of my output these days is photography- and computer-based; many images having been developed digitally to bring them to point where they are more than just a record of light passing through a lens. I'm still learning from my mistakes, as well as by examining the work of other artist's that I admire. For the last three decades or more, I've worked from home in a small riverside village, close to an abundance of countryside thick with woods and great walks to share with my dog. Creating imagery is a strong passion; something that gets me up in the morning when the sun breaks up the night, and later, something that keeps me up until the early morning hours, when I just can't leave...
