Reflecting upon the heart of capitalism in the City of London. The Lloyds building stood as an architectural icon, it had to have a view not previously recorded and reproduced a thousand times. I rather hoped I had found one but when I'd finished shooting I noticed that someone was waiting for me to vacate the spot so that they could shoot it too. Maybe they had a different lens.

Along the way. I'm a UK-based artist and designer. Most of my output these days is photography- and computer-based; many images having been developed digitally to bring them to point where they are more than just a record of light passing through a lens. I'm still learning from my mistakes, as well as by examining the work of other artist's that I admire. For the last three decades or more, I've worked from home in a small riverside village, close to an abundance of countryside thick with woods and great walks to share with my dog. Creating imagery is a strong passion; something that gets me up in the morning when the sun breaks up the night, and later, something that keeps me up until the early morning hours, when I just can't leave...
