About David Davies
Along the way. I'm a UK-based artist and designer. Most of my output these days is photography- and computer-based; many images having been developed digitally to bring them to point where they are more than just a record of light passing through a lens. I'm still learning from my mistakes, as well as by examining the work of other artist's that I admire. For the last three decades or more, I've worked from home in a small riverside village, close to an abundance of countryside thick with woods and great walks to share with my dog. Creating imagery is a strong passion; something that gets me up in the morning when the sun breaks up the night, and later, something that keeps me up until the early morning hours, when I just can't leave...

CONGRATULATIONS! You have won 1st place in the Celtic Mythology Contest with this beautiful photo :)
David Davies replied:
Thank you Megan – this place held a special memory of a pre-dawn walk with my dog on the first day of a week spent re-exploring the Republic. It was cold, damp and dark as we both made our way to the top of the barrow -- but as we got to the top, the view made it all worth it -- and as the sun started to rise, even Jazz my dog stood and just stared. But then Ireland is like that -- magical!
