Artist's Description
Whilst traveling through Morocco, I came across a Berber festival, the main feature being a keenly fought competition between teams of horsemen charging across a dusty paddock, then firing their antique rifles as they reached the end of their race. The noise and dust clouds, along with the colour of the spectacle combined to provide an event that photography alone cannot entirely capture. I wish I could provide the sound track.

Along the way. I'm a UK-based artist and designer. Most of my output these days is photography- and computer-based; many images having been developed digitally to bring them to point where they are more than just a record of light passing through a lens. I'm still learning from my mistakes, as well as by examining the work of other artist's that I admire. For the last three decades or more, I've worked from home in a small riverside village, close to an abundance of countryside thick with woods and great walks to share with my dog. Creating imagery is a strong passion; something that gets me up in the morning when the sun breaks up the night, and later, something that keeps me up until the early morning hours, when I just can't leave...
