About David Davies
Along the way. I'm a UK-based artist and designer. Most of my output these days is photography- and computer-based; many images having been developed digitally to bring them to point where they are more than just a record of light passing through a lens. I'm still learning from my mistakes, as well as by examining the work of other artist's that I admire. For the last three decades or more, I've worked from home in a small riverside village, close to an abundance of countryside thick with woods and great walks to share with my dog. Creating imagery is a strong passion; something that gets me up in the morning when the sun breaks up the night, and later, something that keeps me up until the early morning hours, when I just can't leave...

Very cool and intriguing image. The eyes are kind of spooky in this context. How did you achieve that effect? Nice.
David Davies replied:
Thank you for your kind comments -- much appreciated. I rather messed up with this contest. Accidently, I removed the image from the contest. The administrator is trying to put it back. Hey ho! The eyes are in fact the same -- one borrowed from my daughter. With the use of Photoshop, you can bring almost anything to life!
