Description
Alongside a nearby bridal path ,in the heart of the countryside, an old and dilapidated farm building defied gravity, its curved crumbling roof covered in a massive swathe of ivy. Next to it stood a splendid old street lamp. The two seem to compliment each other, each seemed to be supporting the other's existence. Although part of a time long gone, nevertheless there they still were, in a kind of glorious belligerent persistence.

Gorgeous tones and a fascinating subject with great lines. I agree with Melinda about the engraved or etched look. Congratulations on the tie for 3rd in the recent Bring Life to the Past contest. This was one of my favorite entries.

Lovely image. The added texture and the limited colour pallet almost makes it look like an old engraving. Beautiful job.
